Who is Connections? Connections is a vibrant group of young professionals and leaders in our community. We have drawn together to create an understanding of the needs of non-profit and to facilitate connections between young professionals, our community and it's current leaders. What is Connections? Connections is an effort to bring young professionals and leaders to action. We have formed a permanent endowment at the Richland County Foundation, created by pooled membership dues and contributions. Our goal is to foster charitable giving and community involvement through educational forums and social events. Why Connections Now? Because it is needed now. Connections will help stop the "leadership drain" that our community is experiencing. We need young professionals to step up and become the leaders that will take Richland County into the future. How will Connections affect Richland County? Connections will make member-directed grants to the community. Connections will create awareness for volunteerism. Connections will put together people and organizations that will foster leaders and move our community in a positive direction.
